Zero Tolerance Policy

Our Dream Cuts team have the right to a safe workplace free of abusive, aggressive or violent behaviour and we have a zero-tolerance policy on aggression and violence against its employees.If you display abusive or threatening behaviour towards Dream Cuts employees, they will:

Advise you that they will be unable to assist you, if your behaviour continues;
Warn you that they will end the conversation if your behaviour still continues;
End the conversation if your aggressive behaviour continues and you will politely be asked to leave the salon.

Head Lice & Nits Policy

At Dream Cuts, the well-being and health of our young clients are of utmost importance to us. We understand the concerns and inconvenience that head lice can cause, and to maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone, we have implemented a strict head lice policy. Please read the following guidelines carefully:

Zero Tolerance

We have a zero-tolerance policy for head lice. We cannot perform any hair services on children with either live lice or visible lice eggs (nits) in their hair.

Pre-Appointment Check

Before your child’s appointment, we kindly request parents or guardians to thoroughly check their child’s hair for any signs of head lice. This includes checking for live lice, nits, or any other evidence of infestation.

Confidentiality and Respect

We understand that head lice are a sensitive issue, and we treat all information regarding head lice infestations with the utmost confidentiality and respect. We aim to create a non-judgmental and supportive environment for our clients.

Rescheduling Policy

If lice or nits are found during the pre-appointment check, we request that you reschedule your child’s appointment. We recommend seeking appropriate treatment and ensuring that your child is lice-free before returning to Dream Cuts.

Education and Prevention

We believe that education and prevention are key to managing head lice. Our team encourages parents and guardians to educate themselves about head lice prevention and treatment methods. We are happy to provide information and resources to help families prevent and manage head lice infestations.

Salon Cleaning and Sanitisation
