Fun kids events in Adelaide
What we’re excited for in February / March
We love getting to chat with you and your children when you visit us in the salon, but the amount of times you guys haven’t been aware of fun kids events in Adelaide is mind-boggling! So, we thought, to save you (or us even!) missing out on a fun upcoming event, we will do the research and share a regular blog post with all our favourite upcoming events! These are the events we are the most excited for – the events we think you, as parents with kiddies will appreciate. You’re welcome 😉
17th Feb – 4th March
The Adelaide Fringe
This is an exciting one guys! There are SO many fun shows coming up – many specifically for kids both young and older. We’ve heard lots of parents come in and tell us they have booked multiple shows for their kids, so you may want to jump on their website and book quite soon to avoid missing out. If your little one is into Disney movies (and who isn’t), there is a Disney Delights show, or if circus acrobatic stuff is more their thing, they’ve got that too – there are magic shows, disco’s and more! There are always lots of yummy food trucks and fun things happening at the Fringe – definitely a fun one worth trying. The MIX 102.3 Giant Ferris Wheel at Glenelg
A favourite among the kids and not so bad for parents either, with beautiful views of Glenelg and the beach. Pricing isn’t too bad, you can get a Gondola for just $45, which allows for 6 people. Go at night time if you want to see it lit up – it’s beautiful. You don’t need to book ahead, you can just show up and grab tickets there!

Sunday Markets at Glenelg Partridge House
We love a good market! Especially when it’s in the gardens of Partridge House in Glenelg (this place is beautiful!!). From 10am-3pm there will be 50+ local brands, food trucks, kids face painting and live music from 11.30am. Another free event you can take the family along to!

Playford Science Fair
See the Wipe Out Waste Wizard, Professor Flint, Nitro Nat, Bugs n Slug and experience hands on activities including slime making at the Playford Science Fair (Playford Civic Centre)! There are morning and afternoon sessions available. You can find out more at www.thesciencecollective.com
19th March
Touch a Truck
From 10am-2pm you can attend this event for FREE (we love free events) and get a free sausage sizzle, while you explore Trucks, Tractors, a Petting Zoo, Jumping Castle and more. There’s a Face Painter too, and Sensory Hour (no sirens/loud noises) between 1pm-2pm. This event is at the FARM Centre – 40 Hanson Street, Freeling SA. We know a few kids who would LOVE this one.
